About Boson

About  Boson

Our History

Founded during the depths of the Great Depression, Ebert Boson began his own building company. Set on a foundation of hard, honest work, he built his first project. The year was 1932.

Ebert retired in 1966. Three sons, Jerry, Lyman, and Glen purchased the company and began to build on the company's solid foundation. The business began to move from residential and small commercial projects to larger, more complex building projects, working throughout central Wisconsin.

The 1990's signaled the third generation ownership in the firm. Scott and Kurt Boson assumed the leadership roles upon the retirement of Jerry, Lyman, and Glen.

Tanner and Nate Boson are now fourth generation shareholders and are looking forward to carrying on the family legacy.

The Boson Company continues to be a full service construction management and general construction company working throughout Wisconsin and the upper Midwest.

In a very competitive and often volatile construction industry, The Boson Company has maintained an enduring presence. Since the beginning, we have kept pace with the latest management techniques and computer systems, assuring skilled estimating and project management. The Company has grown in capacity and ability to assist you with the construction management of any commercial, industrial, worship, medical, or corporate project you may be planning.

"It's easy to find people who understand construction...the challenge is to find people who understand values"

"When a public project finishes with a stunning result, ahead of schedule and under budget, it is easy to say that the community has received an outstanding value. That value would not have been achieved without the dedication, expertise and commitment of the Boson Company."

Director

Woodlands Evangelical Free Church

"On the Building Committee, we have often said that one of the best decisions we made in this whole process was to hire The Boson Company. I highly recommend them."

Senior Pastor

Marshfield School District

The communication and cooperation among sub-contractors was evident throughout the project. The Boson Company constantly worked with the sub-contractors to be certain that the work was to be completed with great quality and on time.

Director of Buildings & Grounds

Wells Concrete

Boson treats their sub-contractors fair but, keeps the Owner’s interest first. Most design-build projects can get disruptive and it takes an experienced, well-organized contractor that constantly communicates with all sub-contractors on-site to make a successful project. Boson has managed all of their projects with us in this manner.
